Outdoor gear, remade for the city and the trail.#
The new outdoor wardrobe is lighter, more colourful and easier to live in. We are looking at the pieces that work as hard after training as they do during it: packable layers, fast trail shoes, useful bags and activewear with a sharper silhouette.
Technical clothing with a point of view#
Active Aesthetic is about the clothes and equipment you train in, travel with and wear between sessions. What a garment is made of still matters, but so does the way it moves through the rest of the day: the cut of a shell, the colour of a shoe, the way a daypack sits with a jacket, and whether a piece feels current without becoming disposable.
We do not treat a new release as an automatic improvement. We look for design decisions that earn their place: a lighter foam that stays stable, a rain shell that packs small enough to carry, nylon that resists abrasion, thoughtful pockets, or a waistband that stays put through a long day. Where something is a rule of thumb rather than a measurement, we say so.

Every article on this site is written from the same starting points: published materials and product specifications, care labelling, construction you can see in a shop, and the way a piece behaves in repeated use.
